THE WOMAN WHO WALKED THROUGH FEAR

I am delighted to announce that “The Woman Who Walked Through Fear” has now been published.

I am holding my official Book Launch on 25 May 2018 from 7.00 to 8.30 pm at Flitwick Library, Beds.  Tickets are £1 to include refreshments.  Please contact me for further information.  jackiemcall@hotmail.co.uk

The book recalls my journey through alcoholism and into recovery as I travel along the Old Road of the Pilgrims’ Way from Winchester to Canterbury.

“This book represents a powerfully vivid pilgrimage which blends refreshing description of the topography, honest autobiography, stirring encounters and engaging spiritual reflection into a story which makes for compelling reading.  I felt privileged to read it”.  Reverend Nigel Washington.

“Jackie skilfully takes the reader with her as she prepares for and journeys along the Pilgrims’ Way.  Evoking the sense of ‘The Old Road’ and of those who have travelled before her, she describes the ‘quietening of the mind and the progression of the inner journey, against a backdrop of her love for music and life.  Her route to recovery is courageously observed, her ability to rise to the challenges faced, and her connection with ‘The Way’ shines through”.

Derek Bright (Author of “The Pilgrims’ Way: Fact and Fiction of an Ancient Trackway”)
